Snoop Dogg vs Wiz Khalifa, Stoner vs Stoner, Mac vs Devin. Who's better?. Before I start on this blog I would just like to say this will be one of many rapper vs rapper. So who is better, well its a hard choice because there both awesome and have good albums and songs, although Snoop has been in the rap game longer Wiz brings a fresh and fast paced rap game to the table. At the moment Snoop likes to be referred to as a reggae artist (but we all consider him a rapper) as his last album was "Reincarnated" as reggae album but before that he had dropped many rap albums with lots of sick songs and collaborations including artists such as Dr Dre, Jay Z and 50 Cent. And then there's Wiz Khalifa, quite new to the rap scene but already taking it by storm, back in 2010 he dropped one of his most popular songs "Black And Yellow" and then his career really picked up and he started making millions. His latest album was "O.N.I.F.C" and was very popular with some hard tracks but in my opinion "Rolling Papers" is his best album. So who's better then? Well some people would say Snoop as hes been in the game much longer and can vary between different types of rap and music and beats. But others would say Wiz as hes fresh on the scene and has a better flow. In my opinion Wiz is better as he can flow better and has more diverse beats also he can adapt to songs and collaborates with better people but still Snoop is one of my all time favorite rappers but I much prefer his old stuff with Dre than his modern stuff. But hey that's just my opinion, leave a comment on this blog giving your opinion on who's better.
The rap world is in for a real treat on March 4th as two massive albums are being released. First of all the much anticipated "L.O.R.D" album is being released by ASAP Mob. I was very excited when I found out this album was dropping reasonably soon and what added to my excitement was watching their "Trillmatic" video, a song that will be on the L.O.R.D album, the video was good but was made excellent as a guest appearance from Wu-Tang's clan's and How High star Method Man. The ASAP crew seem excited to release this new album and one person that seems especially hyped is ASAP Ferg, this is probably because he released his Trap Lord album recently and is ready to make a new album with his much talked about ASAP crew. The leader of ASAP Mob, ASAP Rocky commented on the album saying "that the album will have a nineties sound with a modern twist" this makes us think that the song will have a "Shabba" sort of feel to it. But that's not all, also on March 4th Rick Ross will be releasing his new album "Mastermind". This album is much anticipated especially because we have had a taster by listening to "The Devil Is A Lie" featuring Jay Z which in my opinion was one of the best rap songs of 2013 as it has a heavy bass line and back music infused with good rapping and good lyrics. Teflon Don Rick Ross is very excited to release his album especially because he had to delay the album release date twice, he was meant to release it early December but moved it to March 4th which is actually a good move as him and the ASAP Mob can share a day were they can both drop a hard album. Personally i'm very excited for these two albums and will be at my local CD shop on March 4th.
